Melinda , the designer hails from Coimbatore, the textile city of India where she had her schooling. Right from her early years, she had a penchant for drawing, painting and designing. Even in her early teens she painted with different mediums. Her works with oil on Canvas and her knife painting works garnered accolades among the Art fraternity in the city when she conducted a showcase of her paintings way back in 2015.
In 2013, she joined the B.Tech course in Fashion Technology at a prestigious institute in Coimbatore, which further amplified her interests and ideals in life. She completed the degree in 2017 with a Gold medal to her stands. Her academic project on Lume Art Garments inspired her to enter a segment hitherto unexplored in the garment world. It weaves together technology and fabric to bring about a new attire.
She launched her namesake label at the age of 21, just after completing her graduation. She yearns to become a new force to reckon with in the international fashion scene. She is greatly committed to creating excellent, innovative and ready-to wear attire for women and girls. Presently is working from a small Atelier in Coimbatore and aims to grow into a global luxury brand shortly.
