Initially she started with pencil drawings and shadings. Then she went on to experiment with water colors and then with acrylic. Later on she grew up to implement oil on canvas. It is her forte for the time being. She also specializes in knife works. Portraits and landscapes come to life in her painting works.She is guided and encouraged by her father who gives her the much needed mental support.

Melinda is good in oil paintings of varied styles and textures. It is to be noted here that she has not taken any formal training in painting, though she goes for occasional summer painting sessions in the city.

Melinda has done about a hundred paintings and the number continues to increase by the day. She is also a well-versed pianist and is currently doing her Eighth grade from Trinity college of Music, London.

She continues to improvise her painting skills and we are to expect better pieces in the days to come. Presently she is doing her B.Tech in Fashion Technology from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. This would be an added advantage for her in the long run. Her paintings are exhibited in cities across the country.
